Zendaya is an American artist known for her 2013 self-titled album “Zendaya”. She also played the central role of Rue Bennet in “Euphoria”, the HBO teen drama series created by Sam Levinson and directed by Augustine Frizzell.
Career Highlights
The artist has released songs such as "Replay", "Watch Me" feat. Bella Thorne, and "Swag It Out". She has also appeared in television films including "Frenemies" (film), and the drama series "Shake It Up" as well as K.C Undercover, starring as K.C Copper. She appeared in “Black-ish” in 2015.

She was born in California in 1996 and she started hip hop and hula dancing at the age of 8. Her musical influences are Beyoncé, Rihanna, Michael Jackson and Aaliyah.
Fun Facts
She was about to portray her idol, Aaliyah, in the TV biopic film called "Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B", but she lost the part to actress Alexandra Shipp.
Honors
In 2020, she received the Primetime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series” for her role in “Euphoria”, she also won a Satellite Award for the same role.
She was awarded a Saturn Award for “Best Supporting Actress” for her performance in “Spider-Man: Far From Home”.
She is also the recipient of some honorary awards such as CFDA Fashion Icon, and the Choice Style Icon.
The actress made the list of Time magazine’s list of 100 most influential people in 2022.
