Personal Life
Eliza Susan Pitts was the daughter of Nelly Shay and Rulandus Pitts and she had three siblings. Her father was a soldier who lost his leg in battle. Her family wanted to live better and get better jobs so they relocated to California before she was even a teenager.
In 1920, she became the wife of Thomas Sarsfield Gallery who was also in the acting scene. The marriage however crashed after about thirteen years and two children. In the same year of her divorce, she and John Edward Woodall also became wife and husband. They stayed together until they were separated by her death in 1963.
Career
Her acting career was incredible as she got the opportunity to be cast in a lot of shows. When she started, she was featured in shows she received no credit for including “Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm” and “A Modern Musketeer”. “The Unexpected Father”, “The Trial of Vivienne Ware” and “They Just Had to Get Married” are among her notable credits.
