About Yoko Kanno
Yoko Kanno is an arranger, artist, and composer from Japan. She is widely recognized for her works on TV series, video games, live-action films, and advertisements. Kanno has also composed soundtracks for several animated films including “Darker than Black”. Again, she has composed sounds for numerous video games such as “Ragnarok Online 2: Legend of the Second”, and “Uncharted Waters 2: New Horizons”.
In 1990, Kanno released her debut album titled “Song to Fly”. Other released albums of hers include “23-Ji no Ongaku” in 2002, and “Yoko Kanno produce Cyber Bicci” in 2011. She rose to prominence after composing a soundtrack for the video game titled “Nobunaga's Ambition”.
