About Wolfman Jack
Wolfman Jack was the professional name of American DJ Robert Weston Smith. His journey to fame began in 1960 when he was hired by WYOU and worked under the name "Daddy Jules". Admired for his deep-rough voice, Jack worked with a number of radio stations including XERB in Mexico, WABC and Armed Forces Radio.
Other works
His fame also earned him roles in a number of films and television programs. He appeared as himself in the 1971 film “The Seven Minutes”. He was also featured in the TV series “The New Adventures of Wonder Woman”.
Family
He was one of the children of Rosamond Small and Anson Weston Smith and was raised alongside a brother. In 1961, he married Lucy Lamb and together they raised two kids.

He was trained at Washington, D.C’s National Academy of Broadcasting.
