About Willam Belli
Willam Bart Belli is an American actor, drag queen and singer. He rose to fame with his appearances on season four of the reality competition television series, RuPaul’s Drag Race. On the show, Belli earned notoriety for being the first contestant in the show’s history to be qualified.
He had previously made a name for himself as an actor through his role as Cherry Peck in the medical drama, Nip/Tuck.
Belli has also guest-starred in the comedy web series, EastSiders. As a recording artist, he is well-known for his Shartistry in Motion album as well as becoming a member of the group DWV with fellow drag queens, Vicky Vox and Detox.
Family Life
His father was a worker at the Kennedy Space Center. He is also the nephew of Mary Lou Belli, a television director and author. In 2008, he married his then-boyfriend, Bruce.
Achievements
In 2016, he won the Indie Series Award for “Best Guest Actor in a Drama” for his appearances in EastSiders. The same role earned him a Daytime Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Digital Daytime Drama Series”.
