About Werner Klemperer
Everyone's favorite television icon Werner Klemperer, a seasoned German-American actor, stage performer, and singer, was best remembered for his portrayal of Colonel Wilhelm Klink on the CBS television comedy "Hogan's Heroes." For this role, he received the Primetime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series”.
In 1947, he began acting in Broadway productions. He made his television debut in "Shadow of the Cloak," and his film debut in "Flight to Hong Kong," a crime thriller.
