Webbie is an American rapper and actor who burst onto the hip hop scene with songs such as Swerve and Bad B****. Both songs were featured in the 2005 drama film Hustle & Flow. In 2007, he released one of his most successful songs Independent featuring Lil Boosie and Lil Phat. As an actor, he has appeared in a number of films including the 2010 crime film Ghetto Stories.
Trivia
In 2011, he was banned from appearing on BET's music video countdown show 106 & Park after allegedly sexually harassing and disrespecting the show’s host Rocsi Diaz.
In 2012, he was arrested on battery and robbery charges after being accused of kicking a woman down a flight of stairs and going ahead to steal $340 from her.
