About Wally Cox
Wallace Maynard Cox, better known by the name Wally Cox, was an actor and comedian. He started off performing comedy monologues at parties and in nightclubs to earn money for his mother (who had become invalid) and his sister. He is credited as one of the pioneers of television series in the United States. He is remembered for appearances in “Mister Peepers”, “Car 54 Where Are You?” and “Underdog” (voice role).

He was married thrice. As of his death, he was married to Patricia Tiernan. He left behind two children. He was previously married to Milagros Tirado and Marilyn Gennaro. His mother, Eleanor Blake, was a mystery author.
Death
He, according to his autopsy report, was killed by a coronary occlusion-triggered heart attack at 48 years old in February 1973.
