Wale is a Nigerian American rapper who gained international stardom with the release of his 2009 debut album Attention Deficit, which produced hits such as Chillin and Pretty Girls. He went on to achieve further stardom and chart success with his follow-up albums The Gifted and The Album About Nothing.
Personal Life
He and actor Gbenga Akinnagbe are cousins. He became a father for the first time in 2016 after Chloe Alexis Jourdan bore him a daughter named Zyla.
Trivia
In a 2015 interview with Billboard, he revealed for the first time that he lost an unborn child after his ex-girlfriend suffered a miscarriage. He raps about the tragic miscarriage in his 2015 song The Matrimony.
