About Vic Fuentes
He is an American singer, guitarist who was born Victor Fuentes. He is noted for being a member and founder of the American rock band, "Pierce the Veil" where he is known for being the band’s lead singer and rhythm guitarist.
Fuentes’ interest in music grew right from a tender age as he learned how to play the guitar when he was barely seven years old.
He began studying Graphic Design at San Diego State University but dropped out when his former band, "Before Today", got a contract with Equal Vision Records.
Family Life
He was born to father, Victor Gamboa who is a former Mexican jazz musician and mother, Vivian Fuentes. He has four siblings including fellow singer, Mike Fuentes.
Achievements
Fuentes was nominated for the "Best Vocalist" category at the Alternative Press Music Awards' in 2014 and 2015.
His band ("Pierce the Veil") won the "Breakthrough Artist" at the 2010 PETA2 Liberation Awards. They also won the "Band of the Year" at the 2013 Rock Sound Readers Poll.
