Family and Education
She was born to Frank and Joy Amorosi in Melbourne. She had her education at Emerald Primary School and Emerald Secondary College.
She had a son with Rod Busby before the couple got married in 2017.
Career
She started to sing at an early age. During one of her performances at a Russian restaurant, she caught the attention of Jack Strom who helped her sign a recording deal with MarJac productions in 1997. She recorded a CD named “Get Here” while under the production. Three years later, she released her album titled “Power” and the album was nominated for “Best Female Artist” at the ARIA Music Awards in 2001. Her other notable albums include “Somewhere in the Real World”, “The Blacklisted Collection” and “Back to Love”.
Association
She sang a duet with Jon Stevens on his single titled “Something ‘Bout You”. Also, she made an appearance in the song titled “Delicious” with Daniel Powter.
Nominations
In 2010, her fourth album “Hazardous” was nominated by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) as the “Most Popular Australian Album”.
