About Valerie Plame
Valerie Plame is a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer who became known after her identity as a covert CIA officer was leaked by the administration of George W. Bush in 2003 in what became known as the Plame affair. In 2007, she published her famous memoir Fair Game: My Life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House.
Family life
She was born to Diane and Samuel Plame III. From 1987 to 1989, she was married to Todd Sesler. In 1998, she got married to her second husband, former United States diplomat Joseph C. Wilson. She and Joseph have two children: Trevor and Samantha.
Trivia
She was forced to resign from the CIA in 2005 after her CIA cover got blown.
Her memoir Fair Game: My Life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House was adapted into the 2010 film Fair Game starring Hollywood actor Sean Penn and actress Naomi Watts, who played her in the film.
