Vágner Love is the alias of Brazilian soccer player Vágner Silva de Souza. He got his professional start with Palmeiras, a Sao Paulo-based club in 2002. In 2004, he moved to CSKA Moscow where he would spend the next seven years of his playing career. He has also played for Flamengo, Shandong Luneng, Corinthians, Monaco, Alanyaspor, Besiktas and Kairat.
Family Life
He is the son of Ivan and Jaira Love. From 2008 to 2011, he was married to Marta de Souza. He got married for the second time in 2014 to Lucilene Pires. He has two children.
Achievements
He has won multiple top scorer awards in leagues and tournaments including the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, the 2003 Pan American Games, the 2008/09 UEFA Cup Top Scorer and the 2008 season of the Russian Premier League.
