About Tyrell Malacia
In 2022, the left back Dutch international Tyrell Malacia made his big transfer move to English football side Manchester United.
Malacia was raised in Rotterdam by Curacoan and Surinamese parents; and at the age of nine, he enrolled in Feyenoord's youth program. He made his debut in Europe’s elite club football competition the Champions League in a victory over Napoli. All in all, he made 136 appearances for Feyenoord, scoring four goals.
The left back committed to a four-year deal with Manchester United on July 5, 2022, and made his EPL debut as a substitute on August 7.
Since receiving his first U-16 call-up in 2014, he has represented his native nation, making his senior debut against Montenegro in 2021.
Awards and Major Honors
KNVB Cup winner in 2017, and UEFA Europa Conference League runner-up in 2021–2022.
