Trisha Krishnan, usually referred to only by the name Trisha, is a successful Indian actress and model.
Career
Trisha started her career by winning a few beauty pageants, most notably the Miss Madras contest. Soon after, she debuted in the film Lesa Lesa. She is known for her supporting role in the Tamil film Jodi, and her first lead role was in Mounam Pesiyadhe. She was later in the successful films Sammy, Ghilli, and Varsham. She won South Filmfare Best Actress Awards for the films Varsham, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, and Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule.
Trivia
Trisha is an animal lover. She has been the Goodwill Ambassador for PETA.
