Traci Lords is an American actress, singer, model who first gained widespread attention for notoriously appearing in adult films while still being underage during the mid-1980s after starting out as a nude model. Authorities would eventually discover the scandal, forcing Lords to quit her illegal job.
New Career
Her scandals, however, did not prevent her from getting other jobs in the entertainment industry, successfully making her film debut with the sci-fi horror Not of This Earth in 1988. She would later appear in several movies (Cry-Baby, Virtuosity, Blade, Zack and Miri Make a Porno) and television shows (Roseanne, Melrose Place). Lords would also have a career in the music industry, with one studio album under her belt, 1000 Fires (1995), featuring the songs “Control” and “Fallen Angel”.
