About Tony Yeboah
Popular former Ghanaian striker Anthony Yeboah is known for his assertiveness on the pitch and powerful curling long balls. The striker rose to fame after his massive contribution to Asante Kotoko and Hamburger SV.
Early Life
The former striker was raised by his father, Mike Kofi Yeboah. His interest in football was evident in the early stage of his life and he followed his true calling.
Career
Yeboah made his professional debut with the Ghanaian club Asante Kotoko in 1981 and was with the team until 1983. He later played for other local teams such as Cornerstones Kumasi from 1983 to 1985 and Okwaw United from 1986 to 1987.
He made his international debut with the German side, FC Saarbrücken from 1988 to 1990. He later signed on to Eintracht Frankfurt from 1990 to 1995 and recorded more than 100 appearances. Tony also played for Leeds United from 1995 to 1997 and had a short spell with Hamburger SV from 1997 to 2001. He played for Al-Ittihad from 2001 till his retirement in 2002. Yeboah also played for the Ghana National team from 1985 to 1997.
Personal Life
The footballer married Tasha Yeboah and as of 2021 they had 2 children.

Yeboah owns an international sports agency called Anthony Yeboah Sport promotion and a chain of hotels in Ghana known as Yegoala.
