About Tony Dow
Tony Lee Dow was in his late teens when he auditioned for and won the role which would define his career: Wally Cleaver. He portrayed the character from 1957 to 1963 in the sitcom, “Leave It to Beaver”.
His other popular appearances were on the television shows, “Mr Novak” and “Never Too Young”. He also worked behind the scenes as a writer, producer and director.
Family Life
He was born to stuntwoman Muriel Virginia Montrose and designer John Stevens Dow, Jr. His first wife’s name was Carol Marlow. They had one son together and divorced in 1978. His second wife, Lauren Shulkind, is the mother of his second son.
Achievements
He won a Former Child Star Lifetime Achievement Award in 1987.
Cause of Death
The actor was diagnosed with cancer in May 2022, and he passed in two months later.

As a sculptor, he had the opportunity to showcase his work in Paris, France.
