Former world no. 2 tennis player Thomas Haas’ professional career lasted from 1996 to 2017. Although his career was riddled with injuries, he enjoyed successful runs at certain points, being ranked in the world’s top 10 a few times.
His best shot at a Grand Slam title was reaching the semi-finals of the Australian Open in 1999, 2002 and 2007 and Wimbledon in 2009. He also went to the finals of the 2000 Summer Olympics.
