He was an American musician who wrote songs and also played the guitar. He later became a solo artist.
Personal Life
When he was born, he was given the name Thomas Richard Bolin and not long after, his interest in music started growing too. He started playing the guitar when he was just a teenager. Tommy’s refusal to get his long hair cut made the school authorities expel him. He was known to have two brothers.
Career
He joined and left several bands during his career. He was part of the “The Miserlous” band before going on to join “Dennis and The Triumphs”. He later moved to Colorado and joined the band named “American Standard”. He left that band and joined another band named “Ethereal Zephyr”. They released a few albums before he created the band named “Energy”. He took a break from the music scene but went on writing a lot of songs.
Death
Tommy died at the age of 25 due to overdose of different substances. His death happened not long after an interview with Miami News after a concert. At the end of the interview, the interviewer urged him to take care of himself and he replied by saying he had done that all his life.
