Tom Dumont has had a diverse musical career as a guitarist, composer, and actor. He composed music for films, including “Captain Marvel” and “Clueless.” He was also a member of the band No Doubt, along with Gwen Stefani, Eric Stefani, and Tony Kanal.
Early Life & Career
Dumont received his first guitar when he was 12 years old and started practicing. He took strong interest in heavy metal bands such as Iron Maiden and KISS. He initially joined his sister’s heavy metal band but left in 1988 to join No Doubt. The band produced several hits like “It’s My Life” and “Hey Baby.” When Eric left the band, Dumont took over the band’s songwriting duties.
In 2009, he reunited with No Doubt and toured throughout the summer with the band. The band also appeared in an episode of “Gossip Girl” later that year.
Personal Life
Dumont married Mieke in 2004. The couple welcomed three sons in 2006, 2008, and 2011.
