He also made name for himself in the 1970s and 1980s as one of the most sought after music producers in the industry, producing and engineering albums for famous bands such as the New York Dolls and Meat Loaf.
Personal Life
He was born to Ruth and Harry Rundgren. He fathered two sons with Karen Darvin. In 1998, he got married to dancer Michele Gray, who bore him a third son.
Trivia
Actress and model Liv Tyler grew up thinking he was her biological father. It was only at the age of eight that she got to know that her real father is actually iconic rock singer Steven Tyler.
