He is an American basketballer, who was born Timothy Mcconnell Jr.. He is known for his time with the Indians Pacers under the National Basketball Association (NBA), playing in the point guard position. In 2015, he went undrafted in the same year's NBA draft and landed a contract with the Philadelphia 76ers for the year's NBA Summer League. He earned his NBA debut against Boston Celtics in the team's season opener.
During his college days he played for the University of Duquesne’s basketball team called Duquesne Dukes (2010-2012). He later moved to the University of Arizona, where he played for the Arizona Wildcats (2013-2015).

His father is basketball coach, Tim McConnell while his mother is Shelly McConnell. His brother is fellow basketballer, Matty McConnell. He got married to longtime girlfriend, Valerie Guiliani in 2017. His aunt is former basketball player and Olympic medalist, Suzie McConnell-Serio.
Achievements
In 2011, he was named the "ECAC Rookie of the Year" and the "Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year”.
He was part of the "Pac-12 All-Defensive Team" in 2014 and 2015.
