Career
Tim’s first appearance on stage was due to a dare from his college friends. He did so well he continued to appear at local venues and on local television programs. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue comedy full-time. He became a household name on the comedy series “Home Improvement”. For a week in 1994, Tim had the highest grossing film “The Santa Claus”, the #1 rated tv show with “Home Improvement”, and his book was #1 on the New York Times Bestseller list.
Personal
When Tim was 11, his father died in a car crash. In 1978, Tim served 2 years in federal prison for cocaine possession. Tim is married with 2 daughters.
