About Theodore Long
Theodore Long made a name for himself in professional wrestling through his roles as a referee and as a general manager. He entered the pro wrestling circuit as an errand boy for Abdullah the Butcher and Tommy Rich and eventually debuted as a referee in 1985 with Jim Crockett Promotions of the National Wrestling Alliance. He is best known for his tenure with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) promotion, which he joined in 1998. He famously served as the general manager of the SmackDown brand from the mid-2000s to the early 2010s.

Achievements
He was named “Manager of the Year” by Pro Wrestling Illustrated in 1990. He is an inductee of the WWE Hall of Fame and the NWA Hall of Fame.
