About Sunmi
Lee Sun-mi, simply identified as Sunmi, is a professional South Korean singer who also doubles as a songwriter. She shot to fame as a member of the group named Wonder Girls in 2007. She performed and recorded with the group until 2010.
In 2013, she returned to the musical scene as a solo artist and released her debut EP titled “Full Moon”. The EP produced the hit singles "Full Moon" and "24 Hours" which were listed on the Gaon Digital Chart. In 2018, she came out with another EP called “Warning” which also spawned the popular singles "Siren", "Gashina" and "Heroine".
Achievements
She won the award for Artist of the Year, Singer and also the Best Music Award during the ‘3rd Asia Artist Awards’. She also won the Song of the Year – August at the 9th ‘Gaon Chart Music Awards’.
