About Sukarno
Sukarno, known in private life as Kusno Sosrodihardjo, was made the leader of the Indonesian government between 1945 and 1967. This made him the first-ever president of the country. He was the founder of the Indonesian National Party and helped the country to gain independence from their colonial masters, the Dutch Empire. The emergence of the 30 September Movement marked the beginning of the end of his regime.
