About Sissy Spacek
Sissy Spacek is an American actress and singer who first gained recognition for playing the character Holly Sargis in the 1973 film Badlands. She went on to gain further recognition when she portrayed Carrie White in the 1976 classic horror film Carrie. She has starred in other famous films such as Coal Miner's Daughter, Crimes of the Heart, In the Bedroom and The Straight Story, among others. She released her debut album Hangin' Up My Heart in 1983.
Personal Life
In 1974, she married Jack Fisk, with whom she has two daughters Schuyler and Madison.
Awards
She won several awards for her performance in the film In the Bedroom, including a Golden Globe Award and a Satellite Award for Best Actress.
