About Simon Le Bon
Simon Le Bon is an English singer, songwriter, musician, lyricist and model. He rose to fame while performing as the lyricist of the English new wave band Duran Duran during its peak (1980-1985). He mostly served as the band’s lyricist.
He was also known for his membership of the now-defunct Arcadia, another new wave band which was formed by him and two members of Duran Duran as a side project in 1985.
Family Life
He is an offspring of Ann-Marie and John Le Bon who raised him alongside two brothers. He has been married to English supermodel Yasmin Parvaneh since 1985. They have three children, of which one, Amber Le Bon is a model.
Achievements
He has been a recipient of three Ivor Novello Awards.
Controversy
In July 2018, he denied allegations of sexual assault which the victim, Shereen Hariri, claimed had happened in April 1995 during a photo session at a record store she worked for.
