About Shenae Grimes
Shenae Grimes began her acting career in 2004 when she starred as Darcy Edwards in the teens television series titled “Degrassi: The Next Generation”. Since then, the Canadian has appeared in lots of movies and television series including “Scream 4”, “Blood Honey” and “Empire State”.
Aside from acting, Grimes is also known to be a model and has appeared on the cover of lots of well-known publications including Saturday Night Magazine, Vervegirl, and Nylon. She has also worked as a model for some brands like Coffee Crisp, Annabelle Cosmetics, and Complex Entertainment Company.
Family
She has a step-sister called Maya. She became the wife of musician, Josh Beech, in 2013, after a year of dating. They welcomed their first child, Bowie, in 2018.
Achievements
In 2007, she was crowned the “Best Performance in a Children's or Youth Program or Series” at the Gemini Award. The following year, she received a prize for the “Best Ensemble Cast” at the ‘Monaco International Film Festival’.
