The name given to him when he was born was Shawn Bosco Fernandes but he is popularly known as Shawn Desman. He enrolled at St. Francis of Assisi Elementary School. Around that time, he was already interested in showbiz and participated in entertainment shows there.
Career & Major Works
In 2002, he worked on his first album titled ‘Shawn Desman’ which was made up of some really great singles that put him on the map. Some of them were “Spread My Wings” and “Shook” which made it to several well-renowned musical charts. He followed with “Back for More”, his next album which was also another huge hit. When he became a producer, he worked with some talented stars including Kreesha Turner, Danny Fernandes and Nick Carter. In 2010, he released the album “Fresh” then “Alive” three years later.

He has received a lot of awards for different works he has done including Juno Award for R&B/Soul “Recording of the Year” and in 2011, he received a few awards including Much Music Video Award for “Video of the Year”.
