Career
After finishing school, Sharon Stone started her career as a model for the Ford Modeling Agency. She soon decided to become an actress, and eventually wound up in New York City. In 1980, Stone had her first small appearance in Woody Allen's Stardust Memories. She then was in a few other movies, such as Deadly Blessing and Irreconcilable Differences. Sharon Stone had her breakthrough role in the science fiction film Total Recall. Soon after, she started modeling for Playboy magazine. She has also been in Basic Instinct and Casino.
