Shane Mosley, also known by the nickname "Sugar", is a professional American boxer whose glittering career has seen him win multiple titles including the IBF lightweight title and the WBC welterweight title. In 2000, he was named “Fighter of the Year” by the International Boxing Hall of Fame. The following year, The Ring magazine named him the world's best pound for pound fighter.
Family Life
He is the son of Clemmie and Jack Mosley. He grew up with two sisters, Cerena and Venus. He got married to Jin Sheehan in 2002 and had three children with her before the marriage officially ended in 2010. Prior to marrying Jin, he had fathered a son named Shane Mosley, Jr. with another woman. Mosley, Jr. also grew up to become a boxer.
Trivia
In 1988, he and his 3-year-old nephew Diamond were involved in a serious accident, in which Diamond tragically lost his life.
