About Sertab Erener
Turkish singer, songwriter, and composer Sertab Erener is regarded as one of history's most influential and important music personalities. Famed as one of the divas of Turkish pop music, Sertab is well recognized for her great works. After studying opera, she began her musical career working with Sezen Aksu, a legendary figure in Turkish music.
In 1992, Erener released her debut album, "Sakin Ol!". It was a chart-topper and received several awards and recognitions. This album was followed by a succession of critically acclaimed and financially successful albums, including "No Boundaries," "Krk Kalpler Albümü," "Painted on Water," "Sertab Erener", and "Lâ'l."
Family
She married Levent Yüksel from 1990 to 1996.
The songstress is a sibling to Serdar Erener, and she is the daughter of Nizamettin Erener.
