Sean Plott, also referred to as Day 9, is an American professional esports gamer, commentator, game designer and event host. He first came to prominence as a StarCraft player. He went on to do commentary on the games and served as a host at StarCraft tournaments. He has since become a player of other e-games such as Hearthstone, Magic: The Gathering and Dota 2.
Family Life
He was raised in Leawood, Kansas alongside his brother, Nicolas Plott, better known as Tasteless in the esports world.
Education
He is an alumnus of Rockhurst High School, Harvey Mudd College (BSc Mathematics) and the University of Southern California (MFA Interactive Media).
Trivia
He ventured into game design with “Guardians of Atlas” under Artillery, a game company in 2016. The game was discontinued shortly after his departure from the company in August 2016.
