About Scott Carson
After some great performances with Cleator Moor Celtic, Scott Carson joined the youth side of Leeds United. He played a number of games before making his senior debut in 2004. After two years, the English goalkeeper secured a move to Liverpool F.C. With the team, he won the UEFA Champions League, and the UEFA Super Cup in 2005.
During his three years stay with Liverpool, he was sent on loan to teams like Aston Villa, and Charlton Athletic. He has gone on to star for other notable teams like Manchester City, West Bromwich Albion, and Bursaspor in Turkey.
International Career
Carson made his senior international debut in 2007 following a number of great outings with the junior sides. He was a member of the English team that participated in the FIFA World Cup competition in 2006.
Personal Life
His four kids with Aimee Carson are Honor, Harley, Zaine, and Hayden.
Achievements
He was named Charlton Athletic’s “Player of the Year” after the 2006/07 season.
Trivia
At a stage in his career, he held the record for the most capped player of England’s Under-21 side.
