About Rubens Barrichello
Rubens Barrichello is a Brazilian professional racing driver who gained fame competing in Formula One from 1993 to 2011. During his successful Formula One career, he drove for a number of teams, most notably Ferrari. Upon his departure from Formula One in 2011, he competed in the 2012 IndyCar Series before going on to compete in the Brazilian Stock Car V8 Series. He is regarded as the most experienced Formula One driver of all time.
Personal Life
He married Silvana Barrichello in 1997. He and Silvana became parents for the first time when their son Eduardo was born in 2001. Their second child, Fernando, was born in 2005.
Trivia
In 2010, he made history by becoming the first driver in the entire history of Formula One to compete in more than 300 Grands Prix.
He caused controversy in 2015, when he said that his former Ferrari teammate Michael Schumacher did not deserve one of his seven titles since one of those titles should have been his.
