Ross Lynch is an American singer, songwriter and actor known for being one of the founding members of R5 - a pop rock band known for singles such as Loud, Smile and Let's Not Be Alone Tonight. As an actor, he is known for portraying Austin Moon on the TV series Austin & Ally and Brady in the film Teen Beach Movie and its sequel Teen Beach 2. He has also appeared in films such as Muppets Most Wanted and Snowtime.

He is the son of Stormie Lynch and Mark Lynch. He has four siblings – a sister and three brothers, including Rocky Lynch.

For his performance in Austin & Ally, he won three Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards and a Teen Choice Award between 2013 and 2015.
