About Ronnie Corbett
Ronnie Corbett was a presenter, actor, comedian, and author from Scotland. He acted in many of his series and films with Ronnie Barker. After he had graduated from high school, his desire for acting grew stronger every day. Due to this, he started performing with a church youth club.
In 1952, Corbett made his professional acting debut with the film titled “You're Only Young Twice”. The following year, he made his first TV series appearance in “Douglas Fairbanks Presents”. After that, he got roles in numerous films and series such as “The Rise and Rise of Michael Rimmer” in 1970, “The Million Pound Note” in 1954, “No Sex Please, We're British” in 1973, “Christmas Night with the Stars” from 1971 to 1994, and “Ronnie Corbett's Comedy Britain” in 2011.
Education
He studied at the Royal High School and James Gillespie's Boys School.

He was born to William Balfour Corbett and Annie Elizabeth Main. He had two siblings named Allan Corbett, and Margaret Corbett. In 1966, he got married to Anne Hart. He gave birth to three children named Sophie Corbett, Emma Corbett, and the late Andrew Corbett.
Death
He died in 2016 after he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease the previous year.
Awards
He was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire. Again, in 2002, he received an honorary degree from Queen Margaret University College. Additionally, in 2012, Corbett was made Commander of the Order of the British Empire.
