Ronald Perelman is an American businessman who until 2020 was one of the majority shareholders in the automobile company called AM General. Through his MacAndrews & Forbes Incorporated firm which he formed in 1983, Perelman has invested in many industries including banking, television, and groceries.
Some companies that he has invested in include SIGA Technologies, Scientific Games Corporation, and Revlon.
Family
He’s the son of renowned businessman Raymond G. Perelman and Ruth Caplan. He was in four separate marriages before becoming the husband of Anna Chapman. His previous wives include actress Ellen Barkin and columnist Claudia Cohen. In 2012, he welcomed his eighth child.
Education
He ended his education at Cheltenham High School in 1962. Before enrolling at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, he studied at Villanova School of Business.
