About Ron Cey
Six-time All-Star and 1981 World Series Champion Ronald Charles Cey is an American-born and former Major League Baseball player. His position as the third baseman helped the Los Angeles Dodgers teams win four National League pennants and one World Series championship.
Growing Up
The baseball star lived out his early days in Washington. He enrolled in Mount Tahoma High School, where he excelled in sports till, he graduated in 1966. He later graduated from Washington State University, where he continued to play baseball.
Career
Cey made his first professional debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1971, during which time he registered more than 50 home runs for the team. He left the team in 1982 and went on to sign with the Chicago Cubs from 1983 to 1986. After a great run, he went on to play for the Oakland Athletics until his retirement in 1987. Cey has recorded a career stat of more than 315 home runs and over 1,120 runs batted in.

The baseball star married Fran Cey in 1971, and they have 2 children as of 2021.
