His late mom’s name is Susan Atwood.
He married Brittney Smith-Atwood in 2018. They have children named Alexander and Cora.
Atwood also has another son, Noah Atwood, from a previous marriage.
Achievements
In 2016 he took home a Shorty Award in the category of YouTube Comedian.
As of mid-2020 he has two channels on YouTube. The first one, entitled “RomanAtwood”, has almost 11 million subscribers. And the second, “Roman Atwood Vlogs”, has in excess of 15 million subscribers.
At one point the latter channel held the distinction of being amongst the top 50 subscribed channels on YouTube.
He has received the Diamond Creator Award – which is given to content creators whose channels exceed 10 million subscribers – for both of the above mentioned channels. As of 2020 he is one of only two individuals in history to get this award for two separate channels.
Trivia
He and some of his cohorts were once arrested in 2014 for a prank he pulled in Columbus, Ohio involving an ATM machine.
