About Roger Hargreaves

Background
Roger Hargreaves worked at his father's laundrymart before finding work in advertising. He wrote catchphrases like "Emigrate to Canada Dry (for the sake of your Scotch)" while serving as the agency's creative director in the late 1960s.

Among his published works are the 25-book Timbuctoo series and the Roundy and Squarey novels.
