About Roger Clemens
Roger Clemens, also known by the nickname “Rocket”, is a former American baseball player who enjoyed a successful Major League Baseball (MLB) career representing a number of teams, including the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees. By the time he retired from the MLB in 2007, he had won two World Series titles with the Yankees and had received the Cy Young Award seven times.
Family Life
He got married to Debra Lynn Godfrey in 1984. The marriage produced four sons, including Koby Aaron.
Trivia
After being accused of using steroids, in 2008, he was brought before the United States Congress, where he strongly denied the allegation under oath. He was subsequently charged with six counts of lying to the United States Congress but was found not guilty in 2012.
In 2008, singer Mindy McCready claimed that he had an extramarital affair with her. According to her, the affair lasted for more than ten years and only ended when he refused divorcing his wife and marrying her.
