He was 6' 2" tall.
Aside from being on set, he also worked as a producer on the following films “Miracle on the 17th Green” (1999), “Spenser: Pale Kings and Princes” (1994), and “Blind Man's Bluff” (1992).
In 1998, he was appointed as the ambassador for the American Cancer Society.
He was a campaigner for ‘Cure for Cancer’ and was honored by the Gilda Radner Courage Award, as well as, the John Wayne Cancer Institute.
He passed on in April 2002 as a result of synovial sarcoma.
