Rickie Lambert began his professional soccer career at the age of 17 when he featured for Blackpool in a game against Wrexham. Since then, the former England international, who was mostly used as a striker, played for a host of teams like Southampton, and Liverpool.
After recording some successes at club level, Lambert received his first call up to the English senior national team in 2013. The following year, he was named in the team that participated in the FIFA World Cup tournament.
