About Rick Moranis
Rick Moranis is a Canadian actor who was catapulted into the spotlight for playing a number of characters on the sketch comedy Second City TV from 1980 to 1981. He gained more popularity starring in a number of Hollywood films such as 1984's Ghostbusters, 1986'sLittle Shop of Horrors and 1990's My Blue Heaven. He voiced the character Rutt in the 2003 animated film Brother Bear and its 2006 sequel Brother Bear 2.
Personal Life
He married Ann Belsky in 1986. He and Ann had two children together and remained married until Ann's death from cancer in 1991.
Trivia
Following the death of his wife Ann, he took a long break from acting. He stated that he needed the break to focus on raising his two children as a single parent.
