About Richard Hammond
Richard Hammond is a British presenter and journalist famous for being the co-host of the popular BBC Two motoring show Top Gear, which he hosted from 2002 until 2015 along with James May and Jeremy Clarkson. He is also known for co-presenting the shows Brainiac: Science Abuse and Total Wipeout. He is the author of several children and car books, including Can You Feel the Forces and A Short History of Caravans in the UK.
Family Life
He is the son of Eileen and Alan Hammond. He has two younger brothers, Andrew and Nicholas. In May 2002, he married Amanda "Mindy" Etheridge and fathered children with her.
