Reggie Jackson is an American retired professional baseball player whose Major League Baseball (MLB) career began with Kansas City/Oakland Athletics in 1967. He went on to play for teams such as the New York Yankees, the California Angels and the Oakland Athletics before retiring from the MLB in 1987. In 1993, his excellent MLB career earned him an induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

He was born to Clara and Martinez Jackson, who was a professional baseball player in the Negro League Baseball. From 1968 to 1973, he was married to Jennie Campos. He has a daughter named Kimberly Jackson, who he had in the 1980s.
Achievements
During his MLB career, he won the World Series MVP Award two times and was selected 14 times for the Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
Trivia
His 1973 Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award was destroyed in 1991 after fire engulfed his home.
