Rebecca Pidgeon is a 20th-century singer, songwriter, TV and film actress. As a singer, she joined the music band, Ruby Blue in 1986 and spent four years with the group as a lead vocalist. Her famous albums include “The Raven” in 1994, “The New York Girls' Club” in 1996, “Behind the Velvet Curtain” in 2008, and “Sudden Exposure to Light” in 2019.
Acting career
As an actress, she made her first film appearance in 1988 with “The Dawning”. Other films and series she has appeared in include “The Spanish Prisoner”, “Jesse Stone: Sea Change”, “Screen One: She's Been Away”, and “Come Back to Sorrento”.
Education
She studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.

She is the daughter of Carl R. Pidgeon and Elaine R. Simpson. Her sibling is called Matthew Pidgeon. Her grandmother is the late Monica Pidgeon. In 1991, Pidgeon got married to David Mamet. She is a mother of four children whose names are Willa Mamet, Zosia Mamet, Clara Mamet, and Noah Mamet.
